Licensed gas work, done to code
Gas appliances make homes better — instant heat on the stove, a fireplace at the flick of a switch, a dryer that costs less to run. But gas is the one trade where "pretty handy" isn't good enough: the law and basic physics both insist on licensed installation. Our gas technicians install, connect and convert appliances across Toronto, Ajax, Whitby and Uxbridge, with permits pulled and every joint tested.
What we install
- Ranges and cooktops — including running new lines to kitchens going from electric to gas
- Dryers — hookups, venting and gas conversion kits
- Fireplaces and inserts — connections and gas supply for new units
- Garage and shop heaters — the upgrade every winter project deserves
- Pool and spa heaters, patio heaters and fire tables
- BBQ lines and outdoor kitchens
- Standby generator hookups
More than a hookup
The store's "installation included" usually means connecting to a line that already exists, with the right pressure, in the right place. Real homes are rarely that tidy. We run new lines, upsize supply where an added appliance would starve the furnace, correct venting, and pressure-test the whole system — then tag the work and hand you the documentation your insurer wants to see.
Safety, always
Every install ends with a leak check on our calibrated detector, not a soapy sponge and a shrug. And if you ever smell gas — rotten eggs, hissing, dead houseplants near a line — skip the website and go straight to our emergency gas leak service. Leave first, call second.
