Somewhere in your home, water is going where it shouldn't — you can see the stain, smell the damp, or read it on your water bill — but the leak itself is hiding behind drywall, under a slab, or somewhere along a buried line. Leak search is detective work, and it's some of our favourite work: find it precisely, open only what needs opening, fix it once.
How we hunt
- Pressure testing to confirm there's a leak and isolate which system it's on
- Moisture mapping with meters and thermal patterns to trace the water's path
- Acoustic listening to hear pressurized leaks through walls and floors
- Dye and flow tests for toilets and fixtures that leak without a sound
- Camera work where the suspect is a drain line rather than supply
The result: instead of exploratory demolition, one small, deliberate opening exactly where the problem is.
Signs you need a leak search
A water bill that climbs with no change in habits. The sound of running water when everything's off. Warm spots on a basement floor. Paint that bubbles, baseboards that swell, a musty smell that keeps coming back, or a water meter that spins with every fixture closed. Any one of those is worth a call.
Find and fix, quoted separately
You get our findings in plain language — where the leak is, what caused it, photos where useful — and an upfront price for the repair as a separate decision. If the water has already done visible damage, our restorations crew handles the put-it-back-together part too.
